  • Launching March 16, 2026!

Pro Bono CO will be Colorado’s clearinghouse of pro bono opportunities for legal professionals. This will be a virtual gathering place where legal aid organizations and volunteer legal professionals convene to find the right fit for meaningful and impactful pro bono work. Please watch for information on how to sign up for an account soon! In the meantime, use the resources on this page to learn how you can provide pro bono services today.

    Ready to volunteer now?

CAMP (Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program) keeps a list of legal aid organizations across the state! Already providing pro bono service, consider joining the Colorado Supreme Court’s Pro Bono Recognition Program!

Are you a recently retired attorney or an attorney licensed to practice in another state?

You may be eligible for Pro Bono Counsel Certification. This allows you to provide pro bono legal services in the state of Colorado!

Pro Bono CO does not provide attorneys directly to people seeking legal help.

Pro Bono CO does not connect individuals directly with attorneys. If you are an individual seeking legal assistance, you may seek an attorney referral through the Colorado Bar Association or apply for free legal assistance with Colorado Legal Services.

  • Pro Bono CO is housed within the Pro Bono Resource Center at the Colorado Access to Justice Commission.

The Pro Bono Resource Center champions pro bono work through coordination, education, and support for nonprofit legal aid organizations and legal professionals. Do legal professionals have a duty to provide pro bono service?

Every attorney and licensed legal paraprofessional in the state owes a duty to provide 50 hours of pro bono service annually under Colorado Rule of Professional Conduct, Rule 6.1. Rules 6.1-6.5 define the duty of pro bono public service and clarify the parameters of that service.

Pro Bono CO is created by A2J Tech.
